  • 2oz Conniption Bourbon Barrel Aged Gin
  • 1 oz bay leaf maple syrup
  • 3/4 oz Meyer lemon juice

Shaken, strained and served up with fresh bay leaf garnish

Bay leaf maple syrup: Combine 1 cup water with 15g dried bay leaf 10g dried lemongrass peel from one medium sized lemon peel from one medium navel orange careful to not get too much white pith. Simmer covered for 5 minutes cool completely (still covered). Strain and combine with 2 cups maple syrup. Add 8 bar spoons/teaspoons gum syrup

Gum syrup: Mix thoroughly 1:1 by weight acacia powder and cold water. 90 grams acacia powder to 90 grams water is about enough for one batch. Let sit in the fridge overnight to combine and the stir before adding to bay leaf syrup.
