• 1.5 oz Conniption Barrel Aged Gin 
• 3/4 oz Damn Fine Coffee Liqueur
• 1/2 oz Eda Rhyne Appalachian Fernet 
• 1/2 oz fig simple syrup*  Cinnamon stick    

Mix together gin coffee liqueur fernet and fig simple syrup in a mixing glass. Smoke an old fashioned glass with a cinnamon stick by burning a cinnamon stick and placing the glass over it to collect the rising smoke. Gently pour mixed ingredients into a glass and enjoy.    

*Fig simple syrup recipe:  1. Bring 1/2 cup white sugar and 1/2 cup water to a simmer.  2. Remove from heat and add three dried figs cup in half.  3. Cover and allow to cool. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
