Mele Kalikimaka Fizz

2019 Day 2 "12 Days of Cocktails" Cocktail Winner

  • 2 oz. Conniption Navy Strength Gin
  • 1.5 oz. Donn's mix #2*
  • 1 oz. Coconut Cream**
  • 3/4 oz. Lime juice
  • 2 dashes Bittercube blackstrap bitters
  • 1.5 oz. Cold seltzer and more for top
  • Egg white from one egg
  • Garnish with Cinnamon stick & lime wheel

Add 1.5oz seltzer and ice to chilled glass. Add all other ingredients (except garnish) to shaker tin without ice. Shake for 15-20 sec holding the tin together tightly. Add ice and shake again for about 10 sec. Strain into glass with seltzer and allow to settle. Add seltzer slowly to top (would not add more than 1-1.5oz).

*Donns Mix #2 - combine 2 parts fresh grapefruit juice to 1 part cinnamon syrup. Keeps for about a week.

**Coconut cream - combine 2 parts unsweetened coconut milk to 1 part Coco Real cream of coconut. Keeps for about 2 weeks.
