2017 "12 Days of Cocktails" Cocktail Winner

- 1.5 oz Conniption Navy Strength Gin
- 1/2 oz Courvoisier
- 1/2 oz Aperol
- 3 oz Orange Juice
- 1 Egg White
- 2 Dashes Orange Bitters
- Top with Prosecco (recommend Zardetto)
- Garnish: Orange Wheel, Chianti Soaked Cherry, Wine Syrup Sink
Add all ingredients but the prosecco to a cocktail shaker. Shake several minutes, at least 5 minutes to ensure a nice foam. Add ice to the shaker and shake until well-chilled. Pour into a collins or collins-like glass. Add the prosecco to the shaker. Gently swirl to get any remaining foam that has clung to the sides and then add to the glass.
Wine Syrup
- 2 cups wine (merlot or zinfindel)
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup water
Reduce till its very thick and sugar has dissolved
