The lemongrass simple syrup is such a special addition, it really sets this cocktail apart. It is herbaceous and fresh, and one of those cocktails that always impress.
Ingredients

2 oz. Conniption American Dry Gin or Cold Distilled Cucumber Vodka

1 oz. dry filtered sake

½ oz. *lemongrass-infused simple syrup
-
2 stalks of lemongrass
-
2 cups of water
-
1 cup of White Sugar

Directions
Make the Simple Syrup- Place two stalks coarsely chopped lemongrass, 2 cups water, and 1 cup sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer, partially covered, for 15 minutes. Strain the mixture and cool. Cover and refrigerate for up to a week.
Make the cocktail- Mix all the ingredients with ice in shaker.
Strain into glass. Garnish and enjoy!
