Led by one of our expert mixologists, each class is designed to be hands-on, approachable, and unapologetically fun — all while featuring the award-winning spirits of Durham Distillery, from Conniption Gin to our canned cocktails and beyond.

No two classes are the same — and that’s by design. We’ll work with you to tailor your session around:
• Seasonal themes like Summer Spritzes or Cozy Winter Classics
• Spirit focuses such as Conniption Navy Strength, Cucumber Vodka, or RTD cocktail pairings
• Cocktail styles including Martini Variations, Botanical Highballs, or Modern Southern TwistsWhether you want to master the martini, explore vibrant gin-forward sippers, or learn how to build a killer cocktail menu for your next gathering, we’ll craft a class that fits your flavor.

Learn About the Gin That Made You Love Gin
Go behind the scenes of award-winning Conniption Gin and discover the alchemy of cold vacuum distillation, modern cocktail culture, and Southern hospitality. Whether you’re gathering with your favorite people or planning a standout event, our private tours and tastings offer a spirited escape into the art of gin-making.
Private Tours Include:
• An immersive guided tour of Durham Distillery. The distillery will be exclusive to you and your guests. It will not be open to the public during your visit.
• A deep dive into our innovative two-step distillation process including how we select the botanicals, make our ready to drink canned cocktails -- and bottle everything on site!
• A tasting flight featuring Conniption’s most celebrated gins — including Kinship, American Dry, Navy Strength and our beloved liqueurs: Damn Fine & Krupnikas.
Tours run approximately 90 minutes. For the best experience, we recommend groups of 25 or fewer. We cap all private tours at 45 guests and may split large groups into smaller sections.
Outside food and beverages are not permitted during private tours and tastings.

• $500 flat rate for up to 15 guests
• $25 per person for each additional guest -
Friday
• $600 flat rate for up to 15 guests
• $25 per person for each additional guest -
Saturday
• $750 flat rate for up to 15 guests
• $30 per additional guest
Note: the booking can only be made for 7 PM. Special events (see below) are available on Saturdays but require a full buy-out.

Here’s What You Can Expect:
• Private use of our space, with pricing based on day of week and event duration
• A full distillery tour and tasting flight included
• Optional drink packages featuring cocktails, plus curated beer and wine options
The distillery tasting room is a comfortable space for 30-45 guests. If you are interested in hosting a larger event at the distillery, our Conniption Cocktail Bar & Lounge can accommodate.
Exclusions to note: due to ABC law, we cannot have outside spirits brought onsite. We do have them as options for feature cocktails.
