Every once in a while I get a bad case of viral bronchitis that just leaves me coughing, and nothing on the planet seems to work as well as this krupnikas and also Nin Jiom loquat syrup.

Usually I chase a tablespoonful of the loquat syrup with a hot toddy made with krupnikas and it quells the cough and makes me drowsy enough to rest.

But this brew is also tasty enough I drink it for fun. Very very good stuff.

Main ingredient in my favorite drink Krupnikas Flip at my fave Raleigh bar Foundation.

Not a honey or spiced alcohol fan, but if you are you will love this!

goddamb I love this stuff. It's my favorite local sweet liquor and I'm including southern star bourbon cream in that list. It's like spiced mead^2. It's more viscous than barenjager, far more complex, and actually potable on its own. I can drink way too much of this on any night.

We had a chance to try Krupnikas when we took the Durham Distillery tour in NC. It is truly unique and very tasty. We bought a bottle for ourselves and one for our neighbor. She absolutely loved it and has since ordered it multiple times. We still have our first bottle not because we don’t like it, but we just don’t drink something like this very often.

We fell in love with Krupnikas years ago after touring the Durham Distillery and since have offered it to friends and family, especially during the holidays. My sister in law says it tastes like “Christmas in a glass”! Thanks to you we can now send it to share when we can’t be together here locally sharing the sweetness and warmth of the season.
